About the event
You Are Collective presents Strike Out The Stigma, a two-day slo-pitch tournament where local charities face off for their chance to win the top prize donation for their initiative or organization. As a kick-off to mental illness awareness week, we're looking for local charities or initiatives to don their finest baseball tee’s all in an effort to spread awareness about their resources as well as share their stories.
We want to break down the barriers of mental health and make this an open environment to discuss our mental health and illness, experiences, challenges, and resources to foster the community- within the community. From local vendors to food trucks to community resources and open conversations this tournament is all about community and sharing in the idea that you are not alone. Teams are invited to set up a booth to share their cause, tools, and ways to get involved for spectator…
